Active Kids Voucher

If you have school aged kids, you’re eligible to apply for a NSW Active Kids’ voucher for each child to use towards an organised sporting activity.  And if you’ve already used a voucher this year, the good news is that there will be a second voucher for each child available to claim from 1st July.

You can claim $100 per child against the cost of your swimming lessons, provided you have booked in for at least an 8 week programme.

If you wish to use an Active Kids voucher or vouchers for your swimming lessons with TTTT, please email the Voucher details, including child’s full name and date of birth and we can redeem this online for you as part payment towards your lessons.

About the Active Kids program

The NSW Government will provide $100 through a voucher system for parents/guardians/ carers to contribute to the cost of their children’s participation in sport and active recreation. The voucher can be redeemed towards payment of membership or fees with an approved provider registered with the Active Kids program, each calendar year.

Program objective

The objectives of the program are to: 1. Increase participation of school-enrolled children in sport and active recreation 2. Support the delivery of the Premier’s Priority to reduce childhood overweight and obesity by increasing physical activity levels in children aged 4.5 to 18 years living in NSW 3. Help change the physical activity behaviours of children and young people in NSW.

From 1 January 2019 parents across NSW can claim and redeem their next $100 Active Kids voucher. The program runs until 2021. That means, each year, parents can access $100 per school-enrolled child to cover registration, participation and membership costs for sport, fitness and active recreation activities.

A voucher can only be used:

  • once (if the fees for your chosen activity are less than $100, the remaining balance is forfeited and can’t be used)
  • during the calendar year it’s issued
  • for the person named on the voucher
  • for registration or membership fees with an approved Active Kids provider.

A voucher can’t be:

  • split between more than one provider or registration (which means if you don’t use the full $100 any remaining amount will not be used)
  • used for individual items (like jerseys, socks or boots)
  • used for the same activity within the same term as another Active Kids voucher
  • redeemed for cash.

To use the voucher, give the details to your registered activity provider.
