I am an Australian living in the UK and was hoping to find some private swimming lessons for my young children during our trip to Sydney in February. Hi Tanya Today we saw Noah (3 years just) swim the entire width of our the pool, when only six weeks ago we could hardly get him to put his head under water. He still refuses to join in the local swim school group lessons, and for these classes we continue to spend most of the time watching from the sidelines. At home however, your instructor Dave has done an exceptional job engaging with Noah and gaining his trust, and from this Noah has been able to progress at a phenomenal rate, enjoying his swim lessons. Hi Tanya I just wanted to let you know how thrilled myself and Sharon were with instruction given to our children by Henry. They all made huge improvements over the two terms that he gave them lessons, with all four of them successfully coming off bubbles and into independent swimming. Henry was flexible at all times and always amended to the children’s needs, using intuition when necessary with sometimes difficult preschoolers. He maintained an excellent rapport with the kids and all of our children responded well to his instruction. We appreciate Henry travelling to Mt Colah and the advantages it offered us in having private lessons in our local environment. Thank you for an excellent service, your staff made various follow up calls to check our level of satisfaction. I again highly recommend Henry and his skills as a swimming teacher.
I just want to let you know that James and I are very, very happy with the progress the children have made during the past few months. Bev is wonderful and she has a superb manner with the children. Their private swimming lessons are a complete joy as opposed to the opposite at our previous swim school. Thank you again and we look forward to lots more fun and splashing.
A big thank you to Tanya’s Travelling Tadpole, due to your instructor Tom’s influence on my son James not only won at his own swimming carnival, he got into The Zone (under 8 year old boys, 50m swim), he came 2nd in his heat. This is amazing considering he doesn’t take swim lesson nor does he do swim squad. It only took 8 lessons with Tom to achieve great results.
Hi Tanya I have been extremely with happy our swim teacher, Shannon. She is professional, approachable and has a wonderful rapport with the kids. She is clear about her expectations and gives the kids a clear focus on the goals of the lesson/term. From my perspective she is certainly an asset to your swim school.

I completed the 24 km swim (6km a day) in the fjords of Oman (United Arab Emirates) in February with 14 other swimmers.
We had the most amazing time….and the swim each morning and afternoon was very relaxed with frequent stops. I decided to wear a tri-suit which helped me a lot with buoyancy and the possibility of getting cold. While I have not really mastered freestyle I was able to keep up with them with my breast stroke.
Big thanks to Dayna for getting me started again, I hope to keep swimming now as long as I can

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank both Annabelle and Kate for everything this summer. We’re so pleased with Sophia’s progress over the course of the summer in her swimming, she’s outdone our expectations of her progress by perhaps 3 times what we thought she’s accomplish through private lessons in such a short space of time. Toby swam 1.02 in his school carnival 2 weeks ago and shaved off 6.5sec off that time for his Zone result today, so we are off to Area on Monday.
Dear Tanya, can you please pass onto Cameron and Chris a massive thank you – Timothy is a far more confident swimmer and achieved third in his freestyle heat today whereas before he lagged behind. This is a direct result of Chris and Cameron’s tuition. Tim is as proud as having won an Olympic gold
Tiffany was fantastic, so great with both of the kids. Jude ended up having a fun time and even gave her a cuddle at the end
Just wanted to say how amazing Ellie is as our new swimming teacher!! She has a wonderful sense of humour and uniqueness that our children look forward to seeing every Saturday morning at swimming.
I just wanted to send a quick note to say how amazed we were at the progress that Tiffany made with our boys in one session. Our youngest son has been reluctant to get off our pool steps all summer after having previous loved the water but Tiffany got him in no problem and he has been begging to get back in all weekend and is swimming with a noodle all over the pool with confidence and loving every minute if it again. Our older son also loved Tiffany and has progressed away from his attachment to his swim wings and is swimming with a back float and I am sure it won’t take many more sessions to get him swimming without needing it either.
My husband and I were so impressed with Tiffany’s kind, calm and encouraging manner and just wanted to let you know how amazed we were at the incredible results she got in one session and how much we look forward to having her back next week.

We have loved having Gemma as the instructor. I noticed a dramatic improvement in my daughter’s swimming technique with Gemma’s coaching. I was impressed with Gemma’s teaching style and her dedication.
